"Adore Me" February's Stamp of The Month

Valentine's Day is right around the corner.  I am sure you are all well aware from the mounds of candy hearts and merchandise displayed at your stores the day after Christmas.  However, even with all of the reminders around town, it has a way of sneaking up on you.

I have put together another gift card holder using CTMH's February Stamp of the Month-Adore Me. This sweet stamp set has everything you need to put together a cute card for the love(s) in your life or can be used in a simple scrapbook layout.

It is available through the end of the month for $5.00 with any $50.00 purchase.  You can find it at karenleach.ctmh.com.

Happy National Paper Crafting Month

To be completely honest when I first saw the project for the National Paper campaign introduced by CTMH, I wasn't the biggest fan. It felt kind of flat to me.  After seeing a few examples by fellow consultants, my mind was changed.

I received my kit and went straight to work that night. I was able to put it together in just a couple of hours while watching a movie with my family. It is that simple!

I added a few gold gems and sponged the edges of the succulent leaves, but the rest was completed per the easy to follow instructions.

If you would like to get your own kit-don't wait. The campaign ends at the end of the month. You can purchase a kit for $18.95 or you can receive it for free with your $60.00 purchase. You can get yours at karenleach.ctmh.com.

Happy Crafting!

17 Goals for 2017

Happy 2017!  It's that time of year again. Boy, time really does fly when you are having fun doing what you love.

Last year, I spoke about using my new CTMH planner to help track my exercise and eating plan. How did I do?  I failed miserably on the planner portion.  I really tried to embrace the planner method, but it just wasn't a good fit for my personality.  I knew this already on some level, but I like a good challenge and I thought I was up for it.  Sadly, I wasn't.  My planner sits nicely on my shelf collecting dust.

Another thing that I found, after all of these years, is that I am not good at New Year's resolutions.  I, like so many of you, will give thought to what I want to change and then curb it about two months into the year.  Of course, feeling like a failure along the way.

This year I am doing something different.  I am changing resolutions to goals.  I am hoping that the goals I list will help move me forward in both my personal and professional life.  I will return in 2018 and revisit my goals to see how things went.

17 Goals for 2017

1. Read at least 1 book/month or 12 books in a year
2. Exercise at least 5 days/week and get at least 10,000 steps/day
3. Sign up for a Real Estate Investment club
4. Try a new recipe one time each week
5. Blog 2 times/week
6. Create one You Tube instructional video every 2 weeks
7. Schedule a date night with David twice/month
8. Take a cooking class
9. Run a 5K
10. Plant a garden
11. Try one new restaurant each month
12. Find an organization to volunteer some time
13. Be more willing to say Yes
14. Keep better contact with my friends near and far
15. Keep a positive outlook on difficult situations
16. Dip my toes in the ocean
17. Be a better listener

Do you make New Year's Goals?

I hope you have a successful 2017 whether you make goals or not.

Happy New Year from my family to yours!
