Over the last several years, I have seen so many creative ways to gift K-cups or the round lip balms from EOS. I wanted to make a few for Sophia's friends and teachers this year, so I decided to search on You Tube for a video showing how to do this. Unfortunately, what I found was a lot of scoring and hand cutting. I knew there had to be an easier way using my Cricut machine so it was time to do go to the craft room for some research and development.
I started by looking through my Cricut cartridges and I found on my Sweet Tooth Boxes cartridge a box intended for cupcakes. Of course, those holes would be too large for what I wanted, so I started playing around with sizes. After several attempts, I figured out the measurements for the insert to hold the K-cups or EOS lip balm.
Next up was coming up with a design for the front of the box. I saw on Pinterest this cute santa ornament created by the designers at Cricut with Heart. The designers used a box from CTMH Artiste cartridge and made it into an ornament. I loved the santa face they created so I decided to adapt it to my triangle box.
