Autumn French Fry Box Using Sangria

My family won't be celebrating Thanksgiving at home this year.  This year we decided to make it easy on every one and we are going out to dinner.  The restaurant we are going to is one of my favorites, so I can't wait to see what they have in store for us for Thanksgiving.

If we were hosting Thanksgiving, I think these sweet french fry boxes would be a perfect complement to each place setting.  The individually wrapped chocolates would be a nice take away gift for our guests.  You could even print out names  and use these for individual place settings.

Instructions for the French Fry Box

I used the Art Philosophy cartridge(Page 27) to cut the French Fry box.  I cut two at 9" using Close to My Heart's Sangria paper collection and our Champagne card stock. I stamped Beautiful Autumn using the stamp set Friend Tree.  I wrapped each Hershey nugget with a strip of coordinating paper cut at 1.5" X 3".

Instructions for the Clothespin

The clothespin I covered in our gold shimmer trim. I cut the flower from Art Philosophy at 2", placed a gem in the center and adhered it to the clothespin.  The "family" sentiment on the clothes pin is from the Sangria complement package and I just glued this down with a little liquid glass.  I placed the chocolates in a cellophane bag and tied it with our Poppy thick twine.

I hope that you will be surrounded by friends and family this Thanksgiving.  Don't forget to take a photo or two!
