A few more Halloween Nevermore Projects

I just couldn't help myself.  As I mentioned before, I love Halloween and I love playing with the Nevermore paper pack.

I decided to make a Halloween 3D Shadow box, a cute little trinket/gift box, candy pillow box and a simple single pocket gift card holder.

I only have scraps left over from my Nevermore paper pack so I guess that is my signal to move on to Thanksgiving.

If you need to replenish your Halloween paper/embellish collection, please visit me at karenleach.ctmh.com where you can find all of this cuteness for sale to make your own projects.

Nevermore Halloween Mini Album

Halloween Mini Album

Halloween is a couple months away but in the retail and crafting world it feels like it is right around the corner. EEK!

CTMH delivered the cuteness with their Nevermore paper pack line.  The paper pack has all of the regulars--purple, grey, orange and the Background/Texture paper gives you some fun stripes, spiders, and steam punk inspired prints.

I didn't have a problem figuring out what I wanted to create because Halloween is one of my family's favorite holidays.  Since we had our daughter 10 years ago, we have gathered quite a few pictures of the holiday.  I won a CTMH 4" X 4" Mini album at convention this year and decided to put together a Nevermore inspired Halloween album.

The album came together very quickly using a combination of all the fun paper and Nevermore complements.  It is so easy to create when CTMH gives you all of the coordinating items to work with.  My album is ready to fill with pictures and I am ready for some 2015 Halloween fun.

Happy Halloween!

A little Help for our Four Legged Friends

My friends, Gretchen and Robyn, are such go getters.

Both girls started Pedal for Paws and Claws biking event to help support West Valley Humane Society.  It is a Poker Ride with various distances for all biking abilities.  What a fun event!  Last year they raised over $5,000 for the shelter.  I am so proud of these girls.  They saw a need and did something about it.

I wanted to do something to help the cause so I asked if  I could donate a Close to My Heart  basket for their raffle.  I immediately knew that the new Cricut cartridge Artistry would be a perfect start for my project. With over 700 images(including dog and cat images) on the one cartridge, I knew I would have no problem creating my project.

I quickly went to work creating a few cards, candy treat holders, candy jars and included lots of Close to My Heart crafting product.  It was so much fun to put together and I hope it found a good home.
